Central Agriculture minister has announced that product of eggs and milk has been increased as compared to previous fiscal year 2016. Contribution of science and technology is uncountable, whole egg industry is taken by storm with involvement of latest technologies to produce more eggs. Over the span of six years, poultry industry in India has undergone gradual shift from backyard egg business to well structured marketplace. As per reports, near about 8 to 10 percent growth achieved per annum in eggs and broiler production in India. Indian government is came forward to support private and government firms to collaborate with African and south Asian countries to exchange better technologies, innovative ways or technique to increase products as well as trade relations. Egg business owners in semi-urban and rural areas, account for approximate 35 % of egg production. State run cooperatives support egg production by grooming native breeds like kadaknath and Aseel.

Eggs were once considered as traditional commodity available in local shops but growing urbanization has made egg branded products. At present eggs are sell in popular supermarkets. India’s population recognised availability of nutritional elements in eggs, demanding better quality eggs. Several innovations already made to produce quality eggs, enterprises have developed varieties of eggs with amazing nutritional value. India is one of the biggest egg producing secured third position in world ranking with annual production of 60 billion eggs in single calendar year.
